As of February 2011, the city has an estimated population of 81,767 and the population density of 1,400 persons per km². The total area is 56.81 km². ==Geography== Gamagōri is situated on the coast of Mikawa Bay on the Pacific Ocean in southeastern Aichi Prefecture.
